Panasonic TV’s after 1996 can be set to “Serviceman Mode” with the following remote control sequence:
First, select the SET-UP icon and select CABLE mode.
Then, select the TIMER icon and set the SLEEP timer for 30 second.
Next, press the ACTION button twice to get out of the menus.
Now, change to channel 124.
Then, adjust the volume to minimum (0).
You’re almost there – Hit the VOL down button on the TV itself (not on

The modes are B – Serviceman VCJ SUB Adjustments. These include sub-tint, sub-color, sub-brightness, sub-contrast, colorkiller/ABL/gamma, audio and video adjustment, and vertical size.
C – Serviceman VCJ Cut-off adjustments. These include Red, Green
and Blue cut-off, red and blue drive, automatic fine tuning
(AFT), RF AGC (RF gain control), horizontal center, beam limit,
etc.
S – Serviceman Options Adjustments. These involce the PIP and
clock.
M – Serviceman MTS (Stereo/SAP) adjustments.
CHK – the mode you first entered. Normal picture and sound, lets
you check things over and still have a hotkey into the
service menu.
There is one more adjustment that isn’t in the five modes, it’s
global. When in either the yellow or red CHK mode, you can press
RECALL on the remote control to enter the purity firld check mode.
This lets you select a pure white, red, green, or blue screen. A
good thing to walk away from if you just want to temporarily freak
out the floor manager, but it will be fixed as soon as the TV is
turned off. To get out of Serviceman mode, press ACTION and POWER on the remote control cimultaneously for at least 2 seconds. The TV will momentarily shut off and then comes back on.

Service TV SAMSUNG 21Z45 Garis Horizontal

Kerusakan seperti ini banyak terjadi pada TV Samsung keluaran terbaru ( > th 2006 ).Gejala pada TV adalah tidak adanya gambar, hanya terdapat garis horizontal pada layer TV ( maaf tidak ada screen shot nya,,,,,lg males upload hehehe ), tentunya anda sudah paham dengan kerusakan seperti ini bukan !!!

Anda bisa coba ukur tegangan pada IC Vertikal type 78045 dengan lokasi IC 301 pin 2 yang merupakan supply utama IC ini.

Seharusnya pada pin ini terdapat tegangan tidak kurang dari 15 Volt.

Bila tegangan 15 Volt ini tidak ada kemungkinan bisa disebabkan oleh shortnya diode zener Dz 301 yang biasanya terletak tidak jauh dari IC vertical.

Cara Service POLYTRON 51N21 PROTECT

* kerusakan Tv nyala sebentar kemudian mati protect
* cek dulu ic vertikal apakah bekerja normal? jika bekerja normal pada kumparan def yoke akan terbentuk gelombang gigi gergaji dengan frequensi 50HZ.(seperti AC PLN ) melewati elco 1uf 50 volt Lalu disearahkan oleh diode ,maka akan terbentuk teganagan DC seharusnya keluar tegangan 5 volt seprti terlihat pada gambar dibawah ini
* penyebab rangkaian protect aktip menyebabkan ic mikom standby (meggunakan aktip low)
* solusi: ganti c402 1uf50v dengan yang baru atau diganti dengan yang lebih besar seperti 4,7 uf
* pada gambar diperlihatkan tegangan yang seharusnya keluar adalah 5 volt.
* Jika tidak ada tegangan 5 volt patut di curigai IC Vertikal tdk bekerja.

Cara Serice TV SANYO protect

Oke guy’s! it’s showtime,pekerjaan pertama aku buka dulu cashing penutup belakang tv dengan melepas 5 buah sekrupnya terlebih dahulu.Setelah terbuka,lalu kutarik keluar mesin pcbnya keluar,kemudian ku cek tegangan B+ dulu(posisi dalam keadaan on),dengan multitester digital andalanku,aku cek tegangan B+ normal 115V,tegangan H.out abnormal 0 volt,hmmmm….(gumamku ada apa ini). Lalu kumatikan tv dan aku cek resistansi di masing2 pin kaki flybacknya,pada pin B+ normal tak ada resistan,pada pin ABL juga normal,pada pin AFC juga normal,pada pin H.out ,uupppsss….!menunjukkan resistan 0 ohm pada multitester digitalku,jadi antara pin GND dengan pin H.out flybacknya short,lalu kulepas saja flybacknya dan ku belikan yang baru,oh iiiyaa….type flybacknya L40B10602 dan type tvnya CG14SP1N,untung saja toko elektroniknya deket,untuk daerah Barat dan sekitarnya ada dua toko elektronik yaitu Barokah Elektronik dan Chandra Elektronik,flybacknya aku beli di toko Barokah Elektronik seharga 45rb.

Kembali ke pokok permasalahan,flyback baru kudapat dan langsung kupasang,lalu kuhidupkan tv.Bismillah hirohman nirrohim…. mak crrraakkkkk….(suara dari yoke defleksi,bila rangkaian horisontal normal).Allhamdulillah tv langsung menyala normal(senangnya hatiku),tiba-tiba mak peeettt….tv langsung terprotek(layar padam,lampu led menyala terang).waduuuuh….apanya lagi nih(gerutuku),kucoba hidupkan lagi tapi terprotek lagi dan terprotek lagi,dari sini bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwa antara flyback yang asli dengan yang baru aku beli,ada perbedaan kapasitas kondensator internal FBT,sehingga mempengaruhi tegangan output yang di hasilkannya,akhirnya aku putuskan untuk meng”cut”pusat proteksi pda tv ini,yaitu pada R830 senilai 1Kohm,tv pun bisa menyala dengan normal.

Cara Service TV LG Flatron No Picture

LG Flatron type 21FX4AG-TH dengan kerusakan tak ada gambar/picture tapi suara normal, segera aku bongkar itu tv untuk memastikan penyebab kerusakan sesungguhnya,setelah kubuka casing penutup belakangnya,tv langsung aku hidupkan untuk mengecek apakah heaternya menyala,ternyata heater menyala normal,kemudian aku putar potensio screen di bagian flyback ke posisi maksimum,namun tak ada reaksi yang berarti pada CRT.

Hmmmmm…….apanya ya(gumamku)lalu kuambil multitester untuk memeriksa tegangan pada pin G2 soket CRT,ternyata pada pin G2 CRT tak ada tegangan sama sekali(normalnya ±80v).Aku pikir kemungkinan flybacknya yang rusak,buru-buru langsung aku ganti aja flybacknya yang bertype 6174V-6006V dengan yang baru,kemudian aku coba hidupkan tv sekali lagi,ternyata reaksinya sama saja,tidak ada perubahan sama sekali,lalu kucoba cek tegangan G2 pada soket CRT tanpa tersambung ke CRT,ternyata ada tegangan sebesar±80v,hmmmmm……kok baru kali ini ngadepin kasus kayak gini ya,terus aku pasang lagi soket CRT ke CRT dan aku cek lagi tegangan G2nya ternyata short alias 0v.

Yeeaahhhh…..!ternyata pin G2 short terhadap G1,tanpa pikir panjang aku gunakan metode yang biasa aku gunakan untuk menghilangkan short HV dengan focus,namun pada saat ini aku gunakan untuk menghilangkan short G2 dengan G1 yaitu dengan menahan ujung obeng di dekat pin G2 CRT kira-kira ±0,5cm jaraknya.Dimana obeng tadi sudah aku hubungkan dengan ground CRT,kemudian aku nyalakan tv,mak craaaaak ada loncatan listrik antara ujung obeng dengan pin G2(status soket CRT terlepas dari CRT),kemudian aku pasang kembali soket CRT ke CRT lalu aku hidupkan tv sekali lagi dan mak cliiiiing….tv normal kembali,iiiiiyeeessss….senangnya hatiku,Allhamdulillah ya Allah atas semua petunjukmu Amien!.Semoga bermanfaat bagi anda semua,sukses selalu.

Cara Service Tv polytron Gambar Goyang Goyang

Posting kali ini sekedar ingin berbagi pengalaman service TV pada merk Polytron, kerusakan TV adalah gambar menyempit horizontal. Gambar yag muncul pada tabung kurang lebih hana tiga perempat nya saja selebihnya hitam alias tidak ada gambar

Seperti biasa metode saya dalam memperbaiki TV pertama tama adalah cek visual pada keseluruhan chasis dan komponen pada Chasis, ternyata tidak ada komponen yang terbakar.

Saya cek ke bagian solderan Chasis,,ups,,,kelihatannya banyak solderan yang sudah retak, saya pun menyolder ulang semua titik solderan sekalian. Kadang dengan cara ini kita bisa lebih yakin supaya tidak ada yang terlewat.

Setelah selesai menyolder hampir semua titik saya pun mencoba menyalakan TV,,,hmmmm ternyata kerusakan masih persis sama . Apanya saya pikir,,,,,lanjut kebagian Horizontal saya ukur tegangan pada masing masing pin flyback,,,ternyata normal.

Tegangan B+ normal sekitar 130VDC, saking penasaran nya saya langsung saja ganti flyback,,,hhhhh,,,,ternyata masih sama. Penggantian juga dilakukan pada beberapa komponen di sekitar flyback dan transformator switching tetapi hasilnya nihil….fiuuhhh,,,, 2

Pengecekan berlanjut ke bagian power supply, semua ELCO pada blok supply saya ganti, STR dan kapasitor 2 kecil pun ikut diganti, saya coba kembali nyalakan TV , kerusakan masih sama heuheuheu…tenang tenang,,,,biar ga stress sambil dengerin music hehehe

Ok semua komponen aktif yang dicurigai di blok horizontal dan supply sudah coba diganti,,,kecuali satu yaitu opto copler, walaupun jarang mengalami kerusakan saya pikir tidak ada salahnya mencoba ,,,,ternyata setelah TV dinyalakan gambar yang muncul normal alias full

Saya tidak habis pikir ternyata biang keladinya adalah si sensor tegangan 4 kaki ini nih,,,yup itu dia serunya service TV , terkadang apa yang menjadi penyebab kerusakan adalah yang benar benar diluar dugaan.

Oya bagi anda yang tidak tahu atau masih awam, Opto coupler ini adalah komponen pada blok power supply yang biasanya terdapat di dekat transformator switching power supply.

Sedangkan fungsinya sendiri adalah untuk menyetabilkan tegangan pada output Transformator saya juga memberikan gambarnya supaya bisa lebih jelas….Ok semoga bisa menambah pengetahuan rekan semua, bagi yang punya pengalaman service silahkan share yaa

Cara Service TV SAMSUNG Power mati

Posting kali ini akan menjelaskan tentang pengalaman perbaikan pada Televisi Samsung model 14 inch untuk semua tipe chasis KS1A, untuk tipe chasis sendiri anda bisa lihat di bagian bawah PCB chasis biasanya di dekat Trafo FBT. Kebetulan untuk TV yang kemarin saya perbaiki adalah model 21 inch.

Gejala pada TV Samsung ini sendiri adalah power off, komponen yang sudah dicoba diganti adalah Tr Power 6810A yang setelah diganti baru ternyata short lagi, kemudian Deflection yoke juga diganti dengan yang baru namun ternyata masih menunjukkan kerusakan yang sama.

Anehnya pada saat TV dinyalakan tetapi dengan kondisi deflection yoke dicabut transistor power tidak putus / short lagi, setelah dicek ternyata kerusakan bukan pada bagian TR power atau deflection yoke melainkan pada capasitor horizontal 680pF 1K2V yang hambatannya sudah berubah walaupun tidak short.

Untuk lebih jelasnya silahkan lihat gambar, bagian yang ditandai menunjukkan komponen yang saya maksud.

Cara Service TV SAMSUNG – POLYTRON Blangking

Terakhir saya memperbaiki TV merk Polytron adalah kerusakan protect. Beberapa hari kemarin saya menemui kerusakan klasik pada Televisi Polytron lagi, kerusakan TV kali ini adalah gambar blanking putih disertai TV mati / protect

Pada Saat di on kan TV timbul layar putih pada TV dan kemudian mati terprotek untuk menghindari kerusakan tabung, mungkin pada TV produksi lama kerusakan seperti ini tidak akan menimbulkan protect sehingga tidak boleh terlalu lama dalam menyalakannya.

Ternyata setelah dicek kerusakan ada pada penguat RGB, tegangan yang terukur di IC TDA 6107 sangat kecil sekali <10V .Setelah ditelusuri ada satu resistor 1 ohm 1 watt putus, saya lupa kode lokasinya hehehe Terbakar / putusnya IC ini disebabkan oleh shortnya IC TDA 6107, jadi penggantian IC dan resistor harus berbarengan Saya juga dulu sering menemukan TV Samsung dengan kerusakan sejenis, kebetulan tipe IC penguat RGB nya pun sama yaitu TDA 6107 namun waktu itu umumnya hanya resistor 1 watt di bagian PCB CRT saja yang short atau dibagian diode zenernya saja, namun tetap disarankan untuk memastikan kerusakan anda harus mengecek terlebih dahulu kondisi IC penguat RGB dengan cara mengukur resistansi pada masing masing pin IC

IC TDA yang bagus bila diukur pada pin input RGB ( 1,2,3 ) dan pin out put RGB ( 7,8,9 ) serta pada pin 6 sebagai supply utama tidak boleh short, bila salah satu kaki saja ada yang short maka bisa dipastikan IC tersebut rusak.Untuk lebih jelasnya anda bisa melihat pada gambar.
Kerusakan blangking seperti ini juga tidak hanya bisa disebabkan oleh rangkaian pada PCB CRT tetapi juga bisa disebabkan oleh kerusakan tabung, untuk memastikan tabung masih berfungsi baik silahkan lihat artikelnya disini.

Cara Service TV SAMSUNG 21Z40 Mati Total

Apa Anda pernah menemukan TV Samsung model Slim fit dengan kerusakan mati total, Indikasinya adalah tidak adanya tegangan pada Trafo Output Switching sehingga TV mati total.

Berdasarkan pengalaman saya, untuk model TV ini kebanyakan kerusakan tersebut disebabkan oleh putusnya resistor antara sumber tegangan AC dengan diode penyearah untuk supply IC STR W6750.

Bagi anda yang tidak mengatahui konfigurasi IC ini, berikut saya berikut saya berikan screenshotnya

Bila anda tidak mendapati adanya tegangan pada pin 4 STR 6750 ( <10 Volt)maka bisa dipastikan bahwa resistor tersebut ( R801,R802,R804 ) memang putus

Cara Mencegah Transistor Power Short

Di sini saya akan mengunakan lampu pijar sebagai alat bantu untuk servis barang barang elektronik termasuk salah satunya TV.

Sebagai seorang Teknisi service mungkin telah sering mengalami penggantian transistor power, sekali pasang langsung jebol. Itu di karenakan masih adanya kerusakan di bagian driver atau di load transistor itu sendiri.

Untuk perbaikan masalah seperti diatas itu sebaiknya anda pasang lampu secara seri. Sekring di jaringan listrik atau di PCB modul Power supply di ganti dengan lampu pijar 100Watt itu untuk ukuran TV kurang lebih 29″ , sedangkan untuk 21″ lampu pijar 60 watt juga sudah mencukupi.

Tujuannya kalau ada beban yang berlebihan akan menyalakan lampu /tidak merusak TR. Pada prakteknya jika TV dalam keadaan normal / berfungsi normal lalu kita pasangi lampu seperti di bawah ini :

Maka lampu akan Nyala sesaat kemudian akan berangsur angsur meredup dan mati yang pada akhirnya Televisi pun akan nyala normal.

Keadaan ini akan berbeda bila kita pasangkan lampu tersebut pada sebuah Televisi yang modul horizontalnya / bagian horizontalnya masih terdapat masalah, lampu tersebut akan menyala terang secara terus menerus yang menandakan adanya short pada rangkaian.

Saya juga pernah mencoba rangkaian ini sewaktu memperbaiki monitor, tetapi ternyata tidak bekerja. Lampu tersebut tetap menyala terang walaupun di rangkaian horizontal sudah tidak terdapat short.Saya sendiri juga tidak tahu kenapa, males analisanya. Mungkin anda tahu ????
Apa anda juga mempunyai trik lain untuk mengurangi kecelakaan penggantian komponen,??? Jika ada silahkan share, mungkin bisa berguna untuk rekan rekan teknisi lain.

Service TV Goldstar Suara bermasalah

Volume Suara Tak Terkontrol

Pada kebanyakan tv GOLDSTAR error pada volume kontrolnya adalah hal yang biasa, Kerusakan Goldstar Suara Bermasalah ini hampir rata-rata semua tv GOLDSTAR dengan type awal CA pasti mngalami error pada volume controlnya.

Pada waktu tv di hidupkan,kalo kita tidak menekan tombol OK terlebih dahulu pada front panelnya,maka kita tidak bisa mengontrol volume baik untuk mengurangi atau menambah level suara lewat tombol di tv,kalau via remote control sih ndak ada masalah,tapi kalo sewaktu-waktu remote rusak atau hilang kan repot.

Sedianya kita tuh mau mengurangi volume suara tv tapi yang terjadi malah suara tv menjadi sangat keras,karena tahu-tahu set volume pada posisi level full,kita pencet lagi untuk mengurangi volume eee……..malah nggak ada suara sama sekali,karena lagi-lagi set volume pada posisi minimun atau 0 level,kalau volumenya irih alias pelan kan enak,tapi kalau volumenya gede kan yo mbrebeki tonggo to ya,untuk mengatasi hal tersebut cukup anda ganti dengan yang baru IC02=24C02/A,jangan lupa pasang pula soket IC biar gampang bila sewaktu-waktu ingin mengganti kembali.

Anda pun kini bebas mengotrol volume dan mengakses menu dengan mudah via frot panel tv kamu,Oke Dulur Selamat Berkarya,Sukses buat anda!.
